If you don’t know the song “Inside Out” by Eve 6, where the lyrics quickly become crude (“Want to put my heart in a blender”) compared to the upbeat rhythmic component, you were clearly not born in the nineties. But luckily, there is one type of “inside out” that can be appreciated by all: inside-out cupcakes. That is, the frosting is baked inside. This means two things. One: cupcake transport is suddenly exponentially more simple. Two: A melty, gooey component that makes the personal cakes even sweeter when warm. Just don’t eat too many straight from the oven – you’ll end up with a stomachache. I made inside-out carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, but the possibilities are endless.
P.S. listen to Inside Out
