My Very Own (Culinary) Tour de France

Every once in awhile, aspiring journalists are given wonderful opportunities – the equivalent of the theater industry’s “big break.” Mine started with a vague idea of an independent study on culinary journalism, a helpful and willing academic advisor at St. Olaf and an insurmountable passion that I still cannot explain (ironic considering I am a writer). It culminated with being published on Julie Mautner’s blog, The Provence Post (among other things…I’ll spare you the long list).
